Duncan has been teaching Pilates for over fifteen years, having qualified in matwork as a master matwork teacher and a level 4 lower back pain exercise specialist.  Along with matwork, Duncan is qualified in Reformer, Cadillac and the Wunda chair and all the small equipment.  Along with the classes and private sessions he runs in his own studio, Duncan is part of the Teacher Training team for Body Control Pilates, teaching the level 3 matwork, level 4 movement and adaptations, intermediate and advanced mat, all the small equipment and the Pilates for runners course.

Until recently, he was teaching the intermediate and advanced teacher classes on a weekly basis in London.  Along with teaching at Body Control Pilates, Duncan also teaches his own teacher workshops around the country.

Marathon man

Aside from Pilates, Duncan is a keen runner, having taken part in over 40 marathons and half marathons and works with lots of local runners on improving running technique. Duncan uses his in-depth knowledge of running form and conditioning to design dedicated pilates sessions for runners.
